Miller, born Malcolm James McCormick, tragically passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018, due to a fatal drug overdose. However, known as a prolific music maker, the ever-talented Pittsburgh rapper presumably passed away with hundreds — if not thousands — of unreleased tracks to his name.
As for how these tracks are making their way online, no one really knows. Maybe the producers and musicians he collaborated with want Mac Miller’s unreleased work to be posthumously appreciated. Maybe his friends just miss him and want to hear him rap again. Who knows, maybe it’s just the work hackers.
